But when we are feeling love, compassion, forgiveness, gratitude, practicing meditation, being creative, authentic, purposeful, and playful; whenever we have a pleasurable experience, it increases blood flow, boosts neurotransmitters, and increases the production of endorphins. Those activities stimulate the body’s relaxation response (parasympathetic nervous system) which activates the body’s self-healing process and produces healthy hormones that flow joyfully through your body.
