Last weekend was the 4th annual Good Karma “What is Your Intention for 2013” gift exchange, held in Roswell, GA. The synchronicity of the universe showed up as many times as there were stars in the sky. Everyone came with anticipation and excitement and left moved, inspired and empowered.
Wrapped gifts were chosen randomly and anonymously. Those who participated before and those who were there for the first time sat awestruck by the perfection of each gift. The founder and organizer of The Good Karma community, known for her love of hearts, set the tone of the evening when she chose a beautiful hand crafted heart necklace bringing tears to her eyes and wonder to the evening’s guests.
“I have been praying for guidance for months” said one new member when she unwrapped a lovely one of a kind prayer shawl. “The Goddess of Self Love,” a beautiful hand crafted figurine was chosen by a woman committed to loving herself more this year, while someone asking for financial abundance received a money tree!
One of the most touching moments of the evening was revealed when one friend opened a deck of Angel Cards along with an almost exact replica of the stone she gave to her mother as she lay dying.
All of us left this year’s party with profound gratitude and awareness that we are all connected to a greater source that is alive in everything, available to everyone and and abundant in everyway. When we let go our doubts, open our hearts and begin to trust in that source, we always get what we ask for. And that is the greatest gift of all!
